Beyond the school, civilization is offering to this gener- ation more than any other generation has been privileged to receive. The future offers a great challenge. Your privileges and opportunities provide the means of meeting this challenge, so make the most of them. I trust that each of you has been helped in no small way by having been enrolled in Detroit High School this year. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be one among you. I wish to congratulate the Annual Staff for this excellent edition of THE EAGLE.
