l JERRY DWIGHT BRINGARD ARTHUR JAMES BADY D.U.S.-2 Baseball-1, 3 Honor Society-1, 3, 4 Prefect-3, 4 League Council-4 The fact that he has been a member of the honor society in the ninth, eleventh, and twelfth grades, a prefect for the past two years, and our school representative in the Southeastern Sub- urban Conference this year, tells much about Arthur. His writing ability has made a place for him on the Yellow Jacket. However, it is difficult to analyze Arthur's friendly spirit which seems to absorb those around him. His sense of humor is always apparent. He works very seriously on all assignments. It should be added that Arthur has enjoyed the companionship of one girl for over two years. His next destination is the Uni- versity of Michigan, where he will study engineering. It is cer- tain that his easy-going friendliness and his industriousness will make him successful in whatever he does. Football-3 Honor Society-2, 4 Captain-4 Prefect Basketball-3, 4 P'eSident 4 Baseball-2 3 League Council-4 captain! Class Vice-President-3 Track-3, 4 Athletic Association president-4 Varsity Club-4 Debate-2, 3, 4 Blue and Gold sports-4 Yellow Jacket-4 Dramatics-3, 4 The Bringard brothers, Tom and Jerry, are a tradition at Country Day. Jerry, our classmate, may be found around D.C.D. everywhere at the same time. Jerry's contributions to the school are to be found in the fields of baseball, football, basketball, track, interclass debating, student government, and the stage. In the last two years Jerry has won letters in all the major sports. For the ast three years Jerry has been a class representative in the interclass debates. For the last two years Jerry has been a stage manager for the school plays. During his senior year he was the president of the Prefect Board, and a representative to the League Council. As is evident, Jerry is a very active boy in all fields of extra- curricular activities. Jerry has made honors in the academic fields too. This year he has been a member of the honor society quite regularly. Jerry plans to continue his studies at Denison University. He plans to go into accounting or an allied field. We are sure that Jerry will make the high marks in life that he has made at Country Day. SQVOH
