SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS: Jim George, V. Pres.; Neal Blough, Pres.; Larry Tletje, Treas.; Larry Feehan, Sec.; John Jones, Reporter. SOPHOMORES ENTER REAL SCHOOL LIFE A year ago, we entered the doors of Deshler High School as bewildered, yet unobtrusive Freshmen. As time went on, we met and overcame the never-ending battle against classes we knew little about, ending with our advancement into the Sophomore class. As Sophomores, we were given a real chance to show our talents in the dif- ferent extra-curriculars. We had some of our students in the band, in the chorus, in athletics, and many others. The spring means we were much closer to the half-way point in our high school education, and in just two more years, we would be walking the nation's college campuses. Spring also was the time for select- ing and ordering our class rings. Stand- ing in line to be measured for them, we really felt as though we were important. With spirit, knowledge, and confidence, we, the Class of 1968, look ahead to the future with anticipation. SOPHOMORE ADVISERS: Mrs. Sonnenberg; Mr. Behnfeldt; Mrs. Weller.
