JUNIOR CLASS OFFICERS: Karen Behrman, Treas.; Richard Betts, Vice Pres.; Lou Ann Panning, Pres.j Marian Franz, Sec.; Donna Cowell, Reporter. Class of '67 Waits For Senior Year Once upon a time, we were timid, quiet, and hesitant, but with the movement of time, the Class of '67 gained poise, friendship, confidence, and knowledge. To- day, determined to be successful in our quest for learning, we are Juniors at Deshler High School. Since we assumed the position of un- derclassmen, this was the year to think of seriousness and academic life. Count- less numbers of chats by the fireside were held with us by our parents, teachers and our own consciences. Immediately, we assumed responsi- bilities as officers, chairmen, and workers for various student groups. Some of our classmates were in the band, while others were on the various athletic teams, in Vo-Ag, Home Ec., etc. Early in the year, we received our class rings. Displaying them proudly and on high, we beamed at our newfound pos- sessions, for they were a symbol of ad- vancement and belonging. Now, entering the final chapter of our high school careers next year, we look forward to a future in which we may live happily.

The hectic planning for the Junior-Senior Prom, all the record hops, bake sales, and skating parties, all mem- ories are dear.
