Seated above is Mr. Richard Krauss, Superintendent. Standing is Mr. Merritt Burke, Principal. Superintendent and Principal Two very important cogs in the wheel are the principal and the superintendent. Both of these men are devoted to improving and in- creasing the school's academic program. The well-adjusted teaching staff and teacher - student co-operation is evidence of sound judgment and guidance on their parts. An ac- tive and sincere interest in students and their problems characterizes both of these men. Administration School Board These board members are representatives of the people, popularly elected to serve as a link between the taxpayers and the educational system. The community owes much to these men who give generously of their time and energies to create and maintain Deshler's fine educational system. Seated, left to right: Mr. John Watson, Mr. Fred Panning, Mr. Lawrence Drewes, Mr. John Van Zandt, Mr. Warren Isen- barger. Standing: Mr. Richard Krauss, Mr. Otto Meyer. 6
