STUDEI1T COUnCIL One of the activities of the Student Council during the year was sponsoring a record dance held on September 27. It was called “Round-up and served as an initiation for the freshmen. Carrying out the western theme, simple decorations con- sisting of a large steer head, some ranch brands, and the word “Round-up were attached to the stage curtains in the multi- purpose room. The young freshmen were branded on the foreheads with green ink. Refreshments were served at the chuck- wagon , a popular spot with the large crowd.
