Senior Ploy pocked the auditorium. Sand- wiched between tests and the Senior trip, the cast literally played their roles in Who Wouldn't Be Crazy? The Seniors finally scraped together enough money for their trip and so on a Sunday in March, a happy crowd left for Washington. The month of April was filled with many music events: State Contests for both solos and ensembles and for bands and choruses, the All-County Music Festival rehearsal and concert. The eighth grade tests were given during April. May 7 brought the final dis- trict scholarship tests, and on the 13th, Senior Day. On the 5th, the Juniors honored the Seniors with o grand banquet and dance. Baccalaureate came May 15 and on May 20, Deshler High said farewell to another graduating class—the Class of '55. In cap and gown, diploma in hand, and a sigh of relief, each Senior jubilantly exited the por- tals of dear old D. H. S. 6
