Deshler's Student Council is a miniature democracy in actiong a representative body bound to the purposes of serving the s c h ool and encouraging better student-faculty rela- tions. Every year, one f r e s h m a n, two sopho- mores, three juniors, and four s enior s ar e elected by their class to represent it and make known their suggestions for school impr ov e- ment. Through full participation in the Council meetings the delegates are able to voic e the opinions and ideas of the entire student body.
