Its purpose is to promote better understanding between, the students and the faculty, and to handle all situations in regard to campus life that would properly come before the students. This year a new constitution has been adopted which places many matters in student control that were formerly handled by the faculty. As the school has grown into a University, we feel that this is an- other step forward, and that a better spirit of understanding will be fostered on the campus. The members are elected annually by the diiferent colleges, each division having a number of representatives in proportion to its per- centage of the total number of students.
