Dieklw Thatis right, you guessed it: those are just the voices of our stage crew helping each other. just like in football or basket- ball, teamwork is the best way to run a stage crew. One can watch the program or play progress and let the other know when certain sound effects are need- ed or when to open or elose the curtain. You have just heard about some of the crewis work during a program. As you can probably ima- gine, there is also a good bit of work before and after it. Things like mopping up the stage, ar- ranging and checking lights and setting up stage props are a few examples. There is more to belonging to the stage crew than just having work to do. lt gives the members a certain degree of pride.
