Linda Mortimore, Patty Hager, Tommy Yancy and Henry Shaw represented -our club at Allegheny High School in Pittsburgh, where Latin tests were being sponsored. Latrobe High Schoolis Latin Club held its annuals banquet in February. This also was attended by several members. We received an invitation to the State Con- vention of the Junior Classical League, which was held at Clenn Rock, Pennsyl- vania, in April. Finally. the main event. the pilgrimage of the entire club to Pitts- burgh. There we visited the Buhl Plane- tarium. Clark Candy Company and Greater Pittsburgh Airport. The present day members give Mrs. Toyo their thanks and sincere wishes for continuing success. This year marks the beginning of the Latin Club under the direction of Mrs. Toyo. The club consists of sophomore and freslnnen Latin students. The goal of the club is to promote a better Latin understanding and to make it more fun.
