Vllheu we were eontacted by the representative of the Roebuek Publishing Company, it was under- stood that we had a Herculean task before us in order to produee an excellent yearbook for our st-bool. lt was deeided that we would strive for the yearbook of our dreams and put forth an intense effort in that direetion. ,4rI lldilor: Glenn Plummer The DERRIAN staff is comprised of all seniors and we all wanted to be sure to leave behind some- thing extra special so everyone would remember us. The amount of planning and laboring on the setups was enough to keep everyone busy every spare moment that he had. lt was rush this. rush that. type this, retype that. and enough general bed- lam to have everyone a little dizzy, even our spon- sors, Miss Custer and Miss Robinson. But all of the work was done cheerfully and enthusiastieally. with the knowledge that we will Cherish these books for the rest of our lives and know that some of our own hard work and toil have gone into their production. Something tangible is always given more personal value if you have had some part in manufar-turing it. We of the UERRIAN staff would like to give all praise and gratitude due to our faeulty sponsors. Miss Custer and Miss Robinson, for the magnificent job wbieh they have done in assisting us with this yearbook. Vile feel sure that we eouldn't have done half as well without their able guidanee. We also feel sure that the rest of you students will enjoy our lilfRRlAN as inueli as we and hope that someday it will transport you back to your high sehool days. and the pleasant memories of your teens -ff well. here's to your good reading!
