Although we didn't do well in athletics as freshmen l but as sophomores we never dreamed that we would become ,fm i so successful. We were surrounded by fun, laughter and homework. To get a good start we elected class -officers: William Landis, presidentg Tom Yancy, vice presidentg Jackie Ickes, treasurerg Mona Bergman, secretary, and Ronald Jones, historian. Our advisers were Miss Custer and Mr. Grote. Our class was well represented in football and basketball, the school band, History Club, Latin Club, Civics Club, and Freshmen Chorus.
