Singing for the Christmas Assembly brought many thrills to- the members as well as those who heard the beautiful music. The Chorus, under the capable direction of Mrs. Eleanor Pryce, worked hard each week to achieve per- fection. Strains of music were heard throughout the halls every Monday evening after school. The Sextette, a group of girls chosen from the Chorus, almost helped in making the pmt year a more enjoyable one. They sang at assemblies and many community pro- grams. The Chorus and its director deserves much praise for the wonderful job they have done in the past year.

Hensler. ,v-fu WF' The Buskin Club activities include training juniors and seniors to become amateurs in the field of dramatics, and visiting a Pittsburgh theater where we see professional actors perform. The officers were elected at the first meeting held at the home of the Club's sponsor, Mrs. Kelvey, in October. Eugene McKelvey was chosen presidentg Stanley Burik, vice-presidentg secretary, Mary Ramsey, and treasurer, Connie Rhodes. The first play, A Modern Thanksgiving, contrasted the way our forefathers cele- brated the day, and the way modern civilization has transgressed from the original idea of a Thanksgiving celebration. In February we presented Lincoln The Man which related many interesting and unusual details of our Emancipatofs life. A high light of the year was our trip to Pittsburgh where we enjoyed seeing The Student Prince. We were thrilled with Cathie and her Prince, and disappointed that their love affair did not materialize. Nevertheless we were inspired and in our hearts we yearned to become professional.
