In a general state of bewilderment and confusion, the verdant freshmen entered our high school to start their first performance. Under the direction of Miss Carter and Miss Robinson the class elected their officers for the coming year. Filling the position of president was Richard Hendersong vice- president, Donna Kissingerg secretary, Richard Sweeney: treasurer, Lillian Pattig and historian, Robert Bucci. Our Student Council representatives were Joseph Greubel and John Klym. Our first project was electing a freshman cheerleader. From many candidates, Linda Walkinshaw was chosen. We Freshies took part in most ofthe school clubs that were new to us. We were well represented in the Girls' and Boys' Chorus and the majority joined the Civics Club. We tried to attend all the dances, basket ball and football games and other activities connected with school. We hope to have just as much fun in the next three years as we have had our first year.

errian Siu!! This year as in other years, it was the work of the Senior class to publish the yearbook. Know- ing this would be a tough job the class went ahead. Slowly but surely the Derrian began to take form. Pictures were taken, ads were collected and write-ups were handed out. It really made you dizzy just to think of the magnanimous task ahead. But the staff faithfully kept its nose to the grind- stone. And what of our faculty advisers, Miss Custer and Miss Robinson? Without their tremendous as- sistance, this book would never have been pub- lished. They faithfully kept at the job and spent much of their time and effort willingly putting it together. But this is your book. As you look through it, you will no doubt be reminded of many mem- ories. Some happy, some not so happy-many you will share, many you will not share, but all near and dear to your heart. We hope you will be as proud of this book as we are. We worked hard but it was well worth the task. First Row: P. Betts, P. Kleitz A. Clark, D. Maguire, M Ramsey, L. Bozelli, C. Rhodes B. Allison, P. Mortimore, K DeMalta, M. Haase, M. Mc- Wherter, M.
