We knew that it was everything we thought of. As freshies we took part in all activities that our Alma Mater could offer. Now when the summer rolled past we found ourselves proudly sitting in the Sopho- more Class. The first thing that we did was to elect officers, our president was Anna garrong vice-president, Bill Dillong secretary, Jorge Rhodes and treasurer, Phyllis Mc- lune. As for our activities in the Sophomore class, we had a large number out for both sports of football and basket ball and some were honored by getting into the Lettermen's Club. As for the dances, parties, football and basket ball games and other activities, I think the Sophomore Class has proven that they can help make their activities a great success.

To start our Junior year off on the right foot, we decided to elect our student coun- cil members at the end of our Sophomore year. Those chosen were: Shirley Leone, Mar- jorie Vitale, and Glenn Waite. The first thing we did when we came back as Juniors was to elect our class officers for the year. They were: president, Stanley Burikg vice- president, David Robinson, secretary, Sam Mastrorocco, and treasurer, Ruby King. Our librarians this year were Alice Bollinger and Kathleen Fulcomer. They really did a good job. Also new this year were our class rings. At last we received the symbol of our upper- classmanship. We found out this year that we have several musical members in our little group. Ruby King, Dwight Campbell, and James Mowry were chosen from our room to repre- sent Derry at County Chorus held at Derry Township. Also from our room is the pianist for our Girls' Chorus - Marjorie Vitale. Along with all our work we participated in the Journalism Club, Dramatic Club, Girls' and Boys' Chorus, G.A.A., trips, parties, sports, and lots of other activities. By other activities we mean the Class Play, which was a huge success. Everyone in our class had some connection with the play, which was entiled, One Too Many. Another activity was the big event of the year. Of course, it was the Prom. The theme was, Oriental Dream and the orchestra was Jimmy Brunelli. We worked hard to raise money for the prom by selling Christmas cards. After all is said and done, we had some great sports stars come out of our little group of thirty-two. There was Gib Gray, basket ball and footballg Stan Burik, basket ball and' footballg David Robinson, good in both fields, and Glenn Waite, outstanding in foot- ball. All of these are our greater stars of next year. We wish them lots of luck. I know we are all eager for next year to come when we will be on our last round-up.

In a general state of bewilderment and confusion, the verdant freshmen entered our high school to start their first performance. Under the direction of Miss Carter and Miss Robinson the class elected their officers for the coming year. Filling the position of president was Richard Hendersong vice- president, Donna Kissingerg secretary, Richard Sweeney: treasurer, Lillian Pattig and historian, Robert Bucci. Our Student Council representatives were Joseph Greubel and John Klym. Our first project was electing a freshman cheerleader. From many candidates, Linda Walkinshaw was chosen. We Freshies took part in most ofthe school clubs that were new to us. We were well represented in the Girls' and Boys' Chorus and the majority joined the Civics Club. We tried to attend all the dances, basket ball and football games and other activities connected with school. We hope to have just as much fun in the next three years as we have had our first year.
