SENIURS . . . ?reAlumen dt Wat berry ---- Sad jlate . . . We are seniors. Hear our yell .... The loud voices of the loyal seniors were heard at every sports event cheering their team to victory. Excelling in several fields, the 55-56 Senior Class is proud of its many achievements, such as: viva- cious Joanne Baum, marching as head maiorette with our band which, incidentally, is composed of several four-year musicians and seven sen- ior maiorettes: Ann Adams, Joanne Andrako, Alice Gelston, Nancy Hoyle, Janet Koway, Janet McKee, and Shirley Panizzi. The music depart- ment boasts of innumerable talented seniors in- cluding: Harry Switzer, our first trumpeter, Fran- ces Gasdek, an excellent pianist and accordion- A duplicating job is fun for skillful Joyce Bundy, Sue Camilli, and Marilyn Kinsey. Posing for our photographer in the library are Mike Sisak and Janet Koway. ist, and Gwen Howard, our future dancing star. lt takes talented seniors to excel in the fine arts field, but it also takes exceptional lads to be outstanding athletes. The gridiron and basket- ball court proved to be a second home for Tom Barberich, Lawrence Burd, Walter Corey, Tom Pavlik, and Joe Smith, while John Gelsdorf was an asset on both the football and track teams. Gloria Sample, our lone cheerleader, bore a great influence on our many victories. Orchids to the '55-'56 graduating class. May they prove as successful in the future as they have proved in the past four years at Derry Area A. A busy Monday morning for Mr. Edmunds, Joanne Goodlln and Dolores McGuire in our supply room. George Stephens has an interesting tale for Donna Williams and Cora Moore.
