DEDICATION We, the senior class of 1948, wish to dedicate this issue of our year book, the Blue and Gold, to industry. Industry plays an important part in the lives of every person for after graduation we must choose some occupation which will suit both our needs and per- sonalities. We realize that we must work for a living in the fu- ture, for this we need a good education to prepare us for a worthy career. lndustry also plays an impor- tant part in the education of our youth, because industry helps to support our school system and o F f e r s advanced education through college scholarship tests and opportunities for occupa- tional education. Industry, the keynote to suc- cess and the backbone of every nation surely deserves the praise which we confer upon it through the dedication of the school annual. THE BASIS FOR A FULL LIFE
