G.A.A. According to the newly written con- stitution ofthe G.A.A., the purpose of this activity is to l'Promote athlet- ic endeavor, a competitive spirit, good sportsmanship, and to have fun. This purpose is carried out every Friday when a large number of the girls participate in G.A.A. The executive board plans and provides a variety ot activities to promote the interest of the members, such as horseback rides, tournaments, and the executive board over-night. Through the efforts ofthe officers and the advisor, Mrs. Kessler, G.A.A. is one of the most popular extra-curri- cular activities of the school. G.A.A. Officers: Jane Angvik. The foundation has been laid and all members hope that the club will increase its activities, thereby stimulating a greater enroll- ment. Red Cross Opportunity the Red Cross program at Derham is an opportunity for each student to give of herself. The re- presentatives try to plan projects in which the whole school can participate. Music Club MUSIC CLUB Elections, parties, recitals, contests . . . these are a few of the Music Club's yearly activities. This year, the members took turns or- ganizing monthly meetings.
