It isn't unusual to see members rushing up and down the halls in pursuit of copy, pictures, and plans, for it takes the coopera- tion of the entire school to produce a worthwhile yearbook. Mission Club The entire student body participates in the Mission Club's activities, par- ticularly in the All School Mission Project Organized by Mission Club representatives chosen by each home room, the proceeds of this program are donated to home and foreign mis- sions. This was the topic chosen this year for the Derhamites. As debate followed debate, it became evident that Sister Mary Edwin, their new advisor, was keeping the team on their toes. Preparation for a debate is difficult and time-consuming, but the satisfaction after a meet makes all this well worth-while. Debate: lfronr: Winnie Kinneberg, Barb Thompson, Marv Peil Back: jane Angvik, Gloria O'Connell Speech Club Working in advanced and beginning groups, Speech Club members this year decided that the play's the thing and emphasized drama. Indi- vidual members perfected their skills in humorous and dramatic reading, extemporaneous speaking, and ora- tory at speech contests throughout the Twin Cities.
