Miss Sherman's ninth grade mixed choir and Mrs. Drew's ninth grade girls' choir, the two largest groups, delighted their many fans during their Christmas Concert and Spring Concert this year. ' The Madrigals, at specially selected group, worked hard under Miss Sherman and represented Derby well. In a competition consisting of similar groups from all of Oakland County our Madrigals were rated a one, the highest grade possible. Ivy Arlock, and Janice'Bellaire helped their homeroom raise funds for the ' Torch Drive.
