SENIOR CLASS PLAY Love Incorporated was presented by the Senior Class on April 29 1949 at Kirk s Hall Mrs Varner directed this three act comedy CAST OF CHARACTERS Leonard Merrick Fred D attilio Robert Loomis Bob Rolland Funk Emily Scarlett Ruth Sherman Maureen Rosetta Burley Sir Robert Chalmers Knut Muldoon Postman Newsboy a telephone operator Ruth s aunt Bob s friend a Swedish Janitor a policeman Patty Hawk Betty Neal Georgia Teater Ferne Davenport Carroll Toll .Terry Frantz Richard Halferty Darl Wolett Kenneth Patrie The complications of this play start just as soon as Len Merrick just from college and his pal Bob Loomis start an agency Love Incorporated for solv mg people s difficulties arising from their love troubles marital problems etc Their own love problems however are sufficient to keep them occupied But in their efforts to keep themselves straight with their sweethearts and to keep their clients satisfied they get arrested To explain away numerous mistakes Len xnvents a fxctitious twin brother on whom he places the blame And to conduct his love affair he xnvents a fictitious person to make love for him by proxy Hxs efforts to keep up with his own wild explanations and hzs partner s efforts to keep the constantly conflicting desires of tne firm s clients straight piles one humorous sxtuatxon on another until a satisfactory solution is reached with everyone finding a suitable partner All the women have prominent parts notably Maureen the telephone operator and Aunt Rosetta a wealthy woman who is determined to get Sxr Robert who in turn is just as determined that she will not 14
