In October Glen Austin moved to near Columbus, but we soon welcomed another boy, Ray Dossett, to our class, thus still making sixteen boys and sixteen girls. Our attendance hasn't been very good due to chicken-pox, colds and the inclement weather. We are all working hard getting ready for examinations and looking forward to starting on the second semester work.

Ahead are first days for sev- eral years to come and if these boys and girls can meet them all with as much courage as they displayed this year, they will be well on the way to securing an education. During our ninth week Patty Ann Boals moved to Indianapolis. Bobbie Joe Righthouse entered from Indianapolis during the second month. So now we have thirteen boys and twelve girls. In spite of ice, snow and cold, our attendance has been very good. we are finding that along with our work come many good times at school. we all liked our pictures very much. Also nOld Santa'sW visit. we are twenty-five little boosters for D. H. S.
