FIFTH GRADE HISTORY When school opened in September, forty-three lively children enrolled in the fifth grade. We have had only one pupil, Perlie Spicer, to move away and one new member, Maurice Chamness from Vienna, join us still keeping our enrol- lment at forty-three. FOURTH GRADE HISTORY . Thirty-three enthusiastic fourth graders were enrolled the first day of school and We still have the original number. Our average daily attendance has been high, and as a result, interest in our work has never lagged. Werld conditions being what they are today made us realize that we should put forth more effort in trying to be better citizens and live more congenially with our neighbors. Through special emphasis and by example, experience and study, I hope we have learned, a little better, to respect each others dif- ferences and have developed a feeling of brotherhood for all people.
