SIXTH GRADE HISTORY On September 18, 1950, the sixth graders found themselves in a new home in the old commercial room, where ordinary desks had replaced typewriters and book-keeping study tables. Twenty-eight pupils enrolled at the beginning of school, but in December Jane Spicer moved to Austin. Although our group is not large we are rather crowded in our narrow room, but we are studying hard and enjoying ourselves at the same time. This fall we organized a softball team. A great deal of spirit was aroused in our games with the other classes. We are glad that we had a chance to participate in the P. T. A. Christmas program.

FIFTH GRADE HISTORY When school opened in September, forty-three lively children enrolled in the fifth grade. We have had only one pupil, Perlie Spicer, to move away and one new member, Maurice Chamness from Vienna, join us still keeping our enrol- lment at forty-three. Many times we have complimented ourselves, despite the largest class of school, in getting along and working so well together. During the year our class sold greeting cards and nearly everyone earned for himself a Testament or Bible as a reward. We are planning much more fun the remainder of this year as well as trying to all become sixth graders next Year'
