SEVENTH GRADE HISTORY On the eighteenth day of September, 1950, thirty-two seventh grade pupils crowded through the doors of Deputy Junior High to become the largest class in the upper six grades and our teachers say, Uthe liveliest.n Mr. Schepman, our sponsor, acted as chairman for our class election the second week of school. Our class officers are Stanley Nay, president, Sonja Nay, vice president and cheer leader, and Jeanie Cook, Secretary and treasurer. In addition to having a number who could be on the honor roll because of good grades, we have several on the junior high basket ball team. They are Roscoe Herald, Fred Johnson, Kenneth Deputy, and Stanley Nay. we have played several basketball games and have won most of them. Since the beginning of school, we have lost two students, Carolyn Boals and Bill Witt, and have gained three new ones, Rita Dossett, Jgeraldine Coomer, and Billy Coomer, mading us thirty-three in number at present. We think the seventh grade is gaining a reputation for working hard in class time and playing hard in play time and we want to keep that reputation. Good luck! to the Deputy Panthers for the rest of the season and also to the senior class.
