SENIOR GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 20 Leader Muss Margaret Waller Assustant Leader Muss Jane Marshman The Senuor Gurl Scouts meet every Monday nught from 7 30 to 9 OO Some of our actuvutues unclude plane spottung Red Cross sewung and mes senger servuce un black outs Last year a mauoruty of our members earned the dustunctuon of becom ung Senuor Servuce Scouts un one of the furst new duvusuons un New York State Instead of workung on specual badges we do all we can for the war effort un connectuon wuth evacuatuon and communuty servuce We are subject to serve uf called by Washungton Thus year we have devoted much tume to fuxung over an old servuce statuon unto a troop house We are pauntung ut layung a new floor and refurnushung the unsude JUNIOR GIRL SCOUTS TROOP 40 Assustants Musses Muldred Pangburn Madelune Block We have been meetung every Monday afternoon after school from 3 45 to 5 I5 and frequently un the sprung for hukung Perhaps our most adven turous actuvuty us a week end at The Farm un the fall and agaun un the sprung Thus year we have been busy patchung baby quults for the Red Cross and knuttung blocks for a solduers afghan Durung Gurl Scout Week we made a specual druve on Communuty Day and sold about S25 un Defense stamps Our annual cookue sale was so successful that we couldnt get enough cookues to supply our orders As many gurls as can are plannung to spend two weeks at Gurl Scout Camp Amahamu thus summer Among the badges we are earnung are Second Class and Furst Aud durected by Muss Pangburn Communuty badge Junuor Cutuzenshup and My Country durected by Muss Block and Needlecraft l-lostess and Cookung durected by Muss Robunson and Mrs Kent Junuor Gurl Scouts Mary Ellen Barnhart Faye Cable Betty Dauley Joan Dauley Phyllus Dauly Lula Dodge Mary Lou Eagan Dorus Hanrahan Joan Lent Joyce Merchant Janet Page Joan Page Phyllus Pardy Ann Rosen crants Eleanor Shellman Charlotte Skullman Ruth Strong and Beverly Terpennung .
