GEORGIANNA MARIE WILCOX Geor gue feels that she too should be un lune for a unuform Specufucally a WAFS unu form Georgue us rather conventuonal un her duslukes-onuons hustory cold weather cow ards and snobs She dotes on dancung mov ues funny people un fact all people good tumes tuna fush sports Class of 43 and long fungernouls She spends a large part of her leusure tume wrutung letters and col lectung photographs ln school she was ac tuve un the Lubrory club orchestra and the Vuctory Corps lAugust 23 l926J Qi JENNY PATRICIA ZACZEK Jenny wants to get a uob and then when she us twenty one uoun the WAACS Jenny has kept a scrap book of all school news utems for her enture school career Besudes scrap books she enuoys collectung photographs and souv enurs Thus year she was presudent of the Lubrary club and a Fnember of The Vuctory Corps, Needlecraft club and Senuor Drama tucs Prevuously she had been a member of the Travel club She duslukes dark rauny days and wrutung cornposutuons and lukes choco late chlp cookles lJune 28, l925l CLASS HISTORY When we entered hugh school un l939 we were the conventuonol Frosh-afraud of our shadows and Duck Knapp We elected our offucers soon after school started-an earthshakung event' The lucky guys and gurls were Duck Storrer, Glease Judd Shortue Ward and Ed Banker KThey were Presudent Vuce presndent Secretary and Treasurer un order named l Our advusor was Muss Osborne That year we presented a spaghettu supper whuch drew us unto the lumelught-or rather to the edge of the lumelught We stull resent the 40 yearbooks slur Bud them wash theur faces and keep theur teeth clean G r r Our Sophomore year was rather unactuve We specualuzed un such actuvutues as sellung penculs and collectung bread coupons to be cashed un In spute of thus, we dud accumulate a luttle money Our offucers were Duck Storrer lPresudentl Shortue lVuce Presudentl Jean Lutz and Barb Schwenz lSecretressl Mr Anderson was our able and orugunal advusor ln our Junuor year we gave off an aur of workung hard tryung to make money We gave a rather unconvuncung show wuth wuth a Sadue Hawkuns Day dance November 8 a semu formal un December whuch was defunutely a flop funancually a round and square dance at Cannons vulle a serues of dutto un Deposut and the Junuor Prom from whuch we managed to glean about S35 Our offucers for that year were Duck Storrer tPresudent agaunl Shortue Ward lVuce presudentl Barb Schwenz lSecre tory' Bob Monroe lTreasurerl Mr Kent and Herbue Smuth were our advusors We started our Senuor year wuth an unboundung determunatuon to make money We elected Duck Presudent for hus fourth year Martha Ward Vuce presudent Pat Lupp Secretary and Bob Monroe and Bull Skellett Treasurer Mr Muller kundly consented to advuse our unruly class We started bravely enough sellung candy and presentung several round and square dances at Deposut and Cannonsvulle We gave a repeat of the Sadue Hawkun s Day dance November 9 from whuch we receuved S39 O6 November 23 we presented o meat loaf supper we had a huge crowd- ho' December l8 we gave The Importance of Beung Earnest by Oscar Wulde to the more untellectual of Deposut s unhabutants January l l-a day that wull luve long un the memory of 43 s Senuors, socual functuons were banushed We descended unto the depths-our morale hut rock bottom We pucked up enough to sell tuckets to the basketball games guvung one half the proceeds to the Red Cross Mulk fund The weather and Saunt Valentunes Day seemed to carry February along March was brughtened a wee but by the Guee Clubs operetta In Aprul we seemed to gaun uncentuve enough to guve two square dances- one Aprul 3, the other Aprul I0 We seemed to have gathered enough money, plus donotuons, gufts and pruvate funds, to have a Sennor trup So we had one-four gloruous days of Senuor trup That's all there usn't any more except for a Memorual Day dunner ln June we shall step out gracefully and let the Junuors run, the WHOLE school But despute everythung, we bear them no grudges and hope that they shall enuoy theur Senuor year and put up as bug a resustance to educatuon as we dud Farewell, hugh school-haul, LIFE' . , e ls ' ' ' 3 . .
