Students enjoyed excerpts from Oklahoma and a rousing march played by Concert Band in a morning assembly. That evening, Ianuary 19, parents, faculty and stu- dents gathered to hear both groups present several musical selections under the direction of Mr. Forest Goff. The climax of the many hours spent in prac- tice and performance was the Vocal Concert on May 10. Students heard many of the groups perform for South for the last time. Participating in the program were Concert and Beginning Choir, Ensemble, Mixed Chorus, and Girls' Choir which have a total of about 350 members. Under the direction of Mr. Dana Wells and Mrs. Clarice Williams, the choirs gave an ex- cellent performance to end the year's activities.
