S BAK UET PREPARATIOIS After a long hard week of work in the gym, the juniors were a little tired but happy. They proudly served as hosts to the seniors in a beau- tiful setting for the banquet which was held on May 1, 195h. Of course it took more than one week of work to transform the gymnasium into a banquet hall. The girls worked till late hours at lfg, lonroe's making fish, aprons, ties, and nut cups. The boys had to string the wires to form the sky Then the boys, guided by Ur Shoot, shaped the boat by putting up the railing We made the sky by dropping blue crepe paper over the wires. Crepe paper waves were put around the ship White crepe paper filled in the space between the waves and the sky Tied te the stern of the boat was a raft carrying the orchestra We hope that future classes who may have their banquet in the gym will have as much fun decorating as we did 'AA QA 'Vsh 10' 'sa 1-SY' 3 old G01 a f Go! eV' 001 clark Q ,,..-or fi f 3853 1 SHIP SHAPE SCHOOF Y 8 l I JJNIOR QLNIOR The juniors were happy a banquet on May l, 195A in The theme was HBy the was decorated to represent behind There were waves lighted by lanterns BANQUET 19511, to be host to the seniors at the high school gym Bend of the River Phe gym a sh1p with a raft floating around the ship and it was The program was as flllows Navigator Billy bteege Ahoy Darrell Witt Whither Bound Dona Schumacher ManOverboard Mr Gray Captains lales Billy Steege Gang Plank Melodies Eb ll e Capt and First Mate Lois Schoof Disembark Intermission Billy Steege Miriam Scholl Darrell Witt I ' - ' - u , u ll 1 , o n e . .
