The season was high-lighted by many closely fought games, evidenced by the tact that twice our team lost by only two points and once by three points. Not only was the team successful in winning a majority of the games played, but under the leadership ot Coach Vlfitham, a group ot players who had had very little experience at the begin- ning ot the season was developed into a poised, well-trained team. Through all the games a tine Christian testimony was maintained. Our team played hard, it played Well, but most important ot all it played clean and fair. Denver and the outlying regions afford to the students of Den- ver Bible College many opportunities for practical Christian Work. From the local churches there is a constant demand lor pastors, Sunday School superintendents and teachers,youth leaders,choir directors and musicians. From the neglected mountain communi- ties there is the call for Workers who are Willing to travel many miles each Week in order to con- duct Sunday Schools and church services in these out-of-the-Way places. At the jails, hospitals, con- valescent homes, and rescue mis- sions there are open doors for gospel teams and personal work- ers. ln these and many other Ways the students at our college are serving the Lord while, at the same time, are preparing for greater service.
