Awards and honors are given to many of the club members throughout the year. The NFL this year has sponsored the Queen of Hearts Contest and the Miss DHS Pageant and represented our school in con- tests and congresses in South Carolina and surrounding states. THE DISTRIBUTIVE EDUCATION CLUB The D. E. Club, a member of DECA, is an organization for students interested in the fields of marketing and merchandising and earning while learning. Projects and activities for this year included officer leadership classes, operation of a school supply store, National DECA Week, an Em- ployer-Employee Banquet, a creative marketing project, a follow-up survey of last year's D. E. students, co-spon- sorship of Career Day, and host for the D. E.
