MR. EDWARD U WRIGHT Superintendent A.B., Wofford College, M.Ed., U.S.C. MR. HARRY R. PARONE Assistant Principal B.A., U.S.C. Mr. E. L. Wright, a native of Columbia, has been school superintendent of District Two of Richland County since 1943. Under his direction, a number of new schools have been erected and others expanded. Prior to his coming to District Two, he served in the Navy in World War I, and had twenty-three years teaching experience as a history instructor and coach in several fine schools and colleges in the South. One of Mr. Wright's many outstanding achievements is the compilation and editing of a Social Studies film of South Carolina. In addition, Mr. Wright is an avid historian and participates in many historical societies throughout South Carolina. Mr. C. E. Young, who was principal of E. L. Wright Junior High School for one year, has been principal of Dentsville High School for the past two years. Mr. Young is certified in agri- culture, science, elementary and secondary education, and public school administration. In his twenty-three years of teaching ex- perience, eleven of these have been at Dentsville. During this time, Dentsville High School has grown from a small rural school to a school of over a thousand students, in a thriving suburbia. Mr. Harry R. Parone was principal of Louie W. Conder Ele- mentary School for two years, and is in his second year as as- sistant principal of Dentsville High School.
