The current Miss Hi Miss is Barbara Young. The Johnsonian of Win- throp College sponsors Miss Hi Miss, who is selected from the junior class by the faculty on the basis of scholarship, leadership, and per- sonal attractiveness. Rachel Fellers is the current Miss Sportsarama. She was chosen by the faculty to represent Dentsville at the annual Sportsarama football game sponsored by the Seratoma Club. MISS HI MISS MISS SPORTSARAMA YOUTH APPRECIATION John Foster, Marsha Jarrett and Michael Givens were chosen by the Optimist Club to participate in Youth Appreciation Week. 147

MARSHALS Each year marshals from the junior class are chosen on the basis of high academic achievement. Led by chief marshals Michael Givens and Gaye Theus, they assisted at baccalaureate and graduation. YOUTH LEADERSHIP Youth Leadership contestants were chosen by the faculty to participate in the Nation- al Youth Leadership Contest sponsored by the Elk's Club.
