This year the girls have had bake sales in order to raise mon- ey to give basketball charms to the senior girls on the team. The four H's symbolizing the soundness of head, heart, health, and hand signify the purpose of the Girls' 4-H, which is to train girls for the important job of homemaking. Each girl learns the phases of homemaking which include food preparation, child care, and choosing appropriate styles in clothing.
