The French Club, a newcomer to Dentsville's club curriculum, is for all interested French students. Its purpose is to promote a better understanding of France, her people, and her culture. The Spanish Club affords students taking Spanish an opportunity to get together and use their language in informal meet ings and discussions. Spanish students utilize our language lab in order to learn the correct dialects and pronunciation for the Spanish language. 95

The Latin Club, a member of the Junior Classical League, sent delegates to the State Convention in Greenville and to the Latin Fo- rum in Rock Hill this year. The club’s purpose is to encourage an interest in and appreciation of the civilization, language, literature, and art of ancient Rome and to give some understanding of the debt of our culture to that of classical an- tiquity.
