It is the present hope to direct and to center the enthusiasm of the youth, as they take their places in the life of our nation, to the end that they will raise our secondary schools to levels of more effective service in the training of the young people within the sphere of their influence. The purpose of the Les Chansonettes is to promote love, understanding, and appreciation of music; to provide entertainment for scheduled performances; and to promote fellowship, loyalty, achievement, dependability, co-operation, and character through group participation.
