ARt CLUB The Art Club's main function is to foster healthy attitudes toward art as well as creative thinking and ability. By this development within the club they are able to go into the student body and to expand their knowledge. The club attempts to promote substantial self-thinking students, not only in art but in all fields. During this year the Art Club took part in many activities, foremost being the spring trip, which this year was to Brookgreen Gardens. In the fall they attended an Art Show at the Columbia Museum of Art. The club also sponsored a dance in the winter known as the Sno Hop with the subtitle as Beatnick Bop. This dance was to aid in the financing of the spring trip. The student body, by way of ballots voted Patti Sebring as Queen.
