Whether it's being a Fillie, directing the band, go- ing punk, sleeping in class, waiting patiently for halftime, or just clown- ing around , everywhere you look, people are doing their own thing. Doing our own thing took many forms. Homecoming week was everyone's big chance. We are living in a time of freedom to venture out and do our own thing. The DHS student body is no exception. Unlike other schools, DHS is a unique blend of cowboys, preppies, punk advocators, intellectuals, jazz musicians, hard rockers, and other facets that plague the teen years. Life around DHS is exciting, and that excitement grows from the individuality of each student. If we were all alike, boredom would surely set in.
