Students go about the tedious routine of registering for classes. 51 1,961 Students Register On Wednesday, August 25, 1,961 students began registering for fall classes. Five hundred and sixty seniors came to register while 650 juniors and 751 sophomores - the largest class ever - showed up on Thursday to sign up for their classes. Teachers new to the faculty this year were Mr. Ierry Metzler, Mrs. Barbara Vick, Mrs. Eleanor Stemshorn, Mr. Bill Duriclc, Ms. Sharon Sullivan, Mrs. Kay Boyd, Mrs. Barbara Mueller, and Mr. Dan Meyer. Additional sections were added on to the Computer Math class and the name of the course was changed to Introduc- tion To Computers. The District is supposed to provide us with 20 new computers soon, said Assistant Principal Durwood Tonn, to help these students to learn to become computer programmers. 22 REGISTRATION 5' bf Anita Flowers and joel Hayes discuss a problem with Mr. Dieb.
