Students are fortunate to have all the extracurricular activities that our school provides. You can be involved in one of the many clubs, athletics, intramural sports, or just being a faithful fan. To enjoy your high school years more, you have to break away from the books for awhile and do something more exciting. .ge -it 1 rally. .f 3 , .U 9 tk .Maj 'fr There are always those friends whom you'd rather go mess around with instead of doing homework, which can wait until later. It is so important to get in- volved in high school. Pretty soon you'll be finished and you'll have to face this cruel world. QKnock, Knockj Hi! I'm from Denton High and I'd like to know if you'd be interested in buying some . . . Yes, I knew you'd recognize that. It seems that everybody is always trying to raise money for something. The best way clubs have found is through the many fund-raising programs. At the beginning of the year, fund raising companies from all over the country come and show their new items and their best- sellers, hoping that the clubs will try to make a deal with ,f ' N 2 rfb - ' 1 . it . if Y - .. if ,fi g Xt W5 ag. ith if ... them. One of the most popular ways that the clubs have found to raise money is with candy. M8:Ms and America's Finest Chocolate seem to be on the top of that list. But, some of the clubs have chosen a new item to try to raise money. For example, the National Honor Society sold decorative shoelaces, Cracker lack Tins, and Goo-Goo candy bars, where as the German Club has changed from selling their usual Gummi Bears to selling Gummi People.
