Although Denton suf- fered a loss, no loss in spirit ever penetrates the thoughts of students, friends,oralumnia To represent Country folks, students wear overalls the first dav of the week. This is followed in quirk succession hy Dress-Up day and culminates in the carnival that evenings The theme of Nlardi Gras is clearly evident in the gailv-csoI- ored hooths and many varied activities at the carnival. The student hody goes all out for Western Day, and the tradition carries over into the evening when everyone warms himself hy the annual hon-tire. Student participation is mirrored the following day when similarly dressed students march the halls for Twin Day. Decorations line the halls from the previous nightls activities. sa K S swf. ' 2
