Homecoming Week Progresses 1 i Q X During the pre-game ceremonies, Becky Boynton releases happy tears of surprise as she is announced the 1967 Homecoming Queen. Student body president Dan Boyd officiates in the crowning and is the first to extend congratulations to the new queen. The formalities conclude with the traditional kiss from Becky's escort, Jim Mollinger, as nominee Julie Lewis and Steve Speck ioin the spectators in their applause. Members Sold for Week ot Service Latin Club sponsor Mrs. Connell and slave Dave Woodling admire the costume of Don Smith for which he won third place for his costume in the state Latin convention last year. A prize for the best slave dress is awarded to Jill Paterson at the conclusion of the sale. To the delight of the other slaves Jill displays her prize, a Bronco sweatshirt. sw O 4' A irbzvcos ,f President Bill Brinkman auction first year Latin Club student Susan Lord to amused second and third year members. The slaves are owned for a week, the money from the sale goes to the club treasury.
