With a School Nurse. it isn't all throat swabbin' and iodine paint- ing. There's paper work, too. And then at far right, Mrs. Dib- ble is pictured in one of her daily tussles with office records, while Pat Lambert looks uncon- cerned. immune Part of Mrs. Dibble's chores at DHS will make her feet flat. Here she supervises the Honor Society scholarship tests. At far right, Barbara Crimes tidies up the joint where she assists Mrs. , 3 Mclntire, RN. At Denton High School, Mrs. Mildred Mclntire checks a student's eyeballs in a matter of routine. Among her many other duties, Mrs. Mc must attend to students who fall ill at school, follow through until they're back in class and see to the general health welfare of the whole school district. Below right: Ed Cook and Johnny Clark are pictured checking schedules and graduation requirements with Mrs. Maxie Dibble, DHS guidance counselor. lt's Mrs. Dibble who sees to it that students take what they need when they need it. We understand she also runs a real sharp algebra class on the side. ' ,Sakai 'I ri f- V- f -ffi 1 nimff f i K '.-- . . -1 3 -

The language of diplomats is taught by Mrs. Virginia Blair, who also speaks English fsee preceding pagej. Mrs. Blair is a great believer in the use of audio and visual aids in teaching her students a practical knowledge of Frenchf, However, she doesn,t skimp the cultural angle, and the best of French literature at least has a nodding acquaintance with DHS grads when they go out of school to careers and college. Above she's pictured spinning discs for Retha Christopher and Linda Ford. At far left, the class gathers 'round the Steinway to make music in the continental man- ner. Always singin' an' dancin'- a joy and comfort to us all! Below left, Sara Neale and ,lose- phine Neal try to work out their relationship to one another dur- ing a French class. Didn't work -they're not related. And, Mrs. Blair again, taking things easy and informal, which, we're told, is a great part of her charm. l f'.1iZiZK2ZI'Z!Zi3ii f lisa- ..
