Nlrs. Huflgins of the Science Department helps a class with miscroscope studies as it pursues its search of the infinitesimal. Science The term, science,', at D.H.S. embraces the commonplace and a strange, un- believable realm . . . everything from what makes a car stop when the brakes are applied to the minute universe of life and matter that dwells in a drop of water. Through classes in chemistry, physics and biology, students are able to investigate such natural phenomena . . . to familiarize themselves with the machinery that keeps our corner of the Universe in motion. For students who wish to follow up science professionally, there are unlimited opportunities. For those who merely want an understanding of the world about them, science studies still are a rich, rewarding experience for which they will be grateful always. 'P i t Q-9 'W laik MRS.
