Patterson has filled well his position as superintendent of the Denton Public Schools. His good- fellowship, tact, and understanding manner are char- acteristics which have won the respect of the High School students. There is no problem too great or too small for his attention. Under his capable leadership the schools are continually growing and developing. Mr. Patterson is a favorite with everyone and we are indeed fortunate in having so capable a superintendent. -Mr. A. O. Calhoun, generally known as Prof , has -been more than just a principal to D.H.S. during his years of service. He has been a friend to all the boys and girls that have ever gone to this high school, and has made each one of them feel there is a place for him in the world and he is the only one who can fill it. His tact, intelligence, and ability to understand make him perfect for any task he may choose to undertake. Al- though HProfl' is a busy man, he is always ready to listen to our troubles, and we feel our school has profited by having such a worthy principal. Page fourteen
