( X THE BRONCO 1020 Xf ) How the Seniors Got Their Name Have you heard the myth of how The Seniors got their name? I’ll tell you the story, so you’ll Know from whence they came. Sure, a little bit of Heaven Fell from out the sky one day, And nestled in Denton High School In a very pleasing way. So when the Angels saw it, It looked so great and rare, They said, “Suppose we leave it, It seems so peaceful there.” So they sprinkled it with knowledge, And goodness! how it grew, Till today they’re almost Angels, And their wings are sproutin’ too; Of course, the story’s mighty simple, But the facts are mighty plenty, That you’ll never see another class Like that of 1920. — Kathleen Tobin.
