Sl Class T Nancy Lou Haskins . iNancei Band l,2,3,4f Trl Hn Y3, 4, G.A.A. lp Chorus 2 The Senior Class of 1958 got off to a slow start in their freshman year. Ann Greenlee was chosen queen attendant. Gloria McPeek was maiorette. The boys hadn't had much of a chance in the sports field as yet. Our sophomore year we started rolling along. A few boys names were begin- ning to appear in the sports columns. They were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Jack Beckley, and Bill Cummings. Gloria McPeek' was chosen homecoming queen at- tendant. Virginia Willard and Ann Greenlee were cheerleaders. Our iunior year we were starting to be recognized around the school. The boys who participated in the sports were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Jack Beckley, Bill Cummings, and Bob Sanners. Gloria McPeek, Virginia Willard, and Ann Greenlee were cheerleaders. Carol Copeland was chosen queen attendant. The majorettes were Carol Bear and Rennie Kumbera. In April we presented Back- woods Romeo directed by Miss George. Then in May we gave the Junior-Senior Prom, with Heaven on Earth as our theme. The class sponsor was Mr. Cain. Finally we reached our last year of school. This is the year we will all remem ber. With the help of 9 of our boys, we were able to win the title of Tuscarawas County Class A Football Champions. Four of these boys were chosen on the Twin City Team. They were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Bill Cummings. Jack Beckley was chosen most valuable player. There were three cheerleaders from our class this year, Virginia Willard QHead Cheerleader, Gloria McPeek, and Ann Greenlee. Rennie Kumbera was chosen homecoming queen, and Gloria McPeek was queen attendant. The maiorettes were Carol Bear, Kathleen Sikora, and Ren- nie Kumbera, fHead Maiorettei. We are looking forward to class day, Baccalau- reate, and Commencement, even though we'll hate leaving our friends at D.H.S. To our parents, teachers and also to the school administration we owe our ap- preciation and thanks for our success and happiness throughout the years. We the class of l958 thank you. ' 26

I, Bill Cummings, will some of my weight to Larry Skinny Hunter, and a pack of fags and a case of beer to Zobel . I, Mary Armstrong, will to my brother, Jim, all my books and hope he studies them more than I did. And to the Juniors I will, Mr. Cain. I, Robert Gene Sanners, being of almost sound mind and body, will my position on the football team to anyone who can take as much as I did and still stay out for football. And to Mrs. Ong Dong someone who can get detention the first day of school, like me. I, Joan Thomas, will my books to Bob Hunter, my seat in homeroom to John Barth, all my good times at D.H.S. to Nancy Weaver and Emma Lou Cottrell, and last but not least, all my Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson recordings to Nick Cummings and Teddy Fisher. I, Eugene Maxwell, being of sound mind and body do hereby will my seat in Senior homeroom, which is ready to fall apart anyhow to Bill Specs Sudduth, to my niece, Jean Ann, I will all my good times and books and hope she graduates with flying honors such as I am sure I will. I, Shirley Leach, will all my books, teachers, homeroom seat, and all my good times at D.H .S. to my boyfriend, Gary Zobel . I, George Bloom, will to my sister, all my books, my brother, my homeroom seat, and to Tim Cox, friendship with Mrs. Ong. I, Jay Craft, will to Slug Hooker, all my books and hope he gets more out of them than I did. I, Barb Baker, will to Tom Thompson, my ability to graduate and get along with Mr. Cain. To my brother, Biff, my books and seat in homeroom. To Joyce Clantz a ride to school in the momings. I, Harold Hill, will all my good times to Karen Palandrani and hope she can get along with the teachers as bad as I did. To Tommy Thompson, my long walk to the park and my seat in detention. My position on the football team to Bill Young and my leakproof stall to Little Eugene McPeek and Little Don Moody. I, Nancy Burdette, will to Patty all my good times at D.H .S. and to my sister, Alice, my seat in homeroom, and last ut not least, to Mr. Cain another class as noisy as we were. I, Jack Beckley, will to Linda Wright, my books and good times at D.H.S. To Dick Kilpatrick, my seat in homeroom and to my nephew, George Gram II, my posi- tion on t e football team. I, Carol Copeland, will to Mrs. Healea another table in Home Economics with four girls as quiet as Emhoff, Wright, Burdette, and I always were.
