Sl Class T Nancy Lou Haskins . iNancei Band l,2,3,4f Trl Hn Y3, 4, G.A.A. lp Chorus 2 The Senior Class of 1958 got off to a slow start in their freshman year. Ann Greenlee was chosen queen attendant. Gloria McPeek was maiorette. The boys hadn't had much of a chance in the sports field as yet. Our sophomore year we started rolling along. A few boys names were begin- ning to appear in the sports columns. They were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Jack Beckley, and Bill Cummings. Gloria McPeek' was chosen homecoming queen at- tendant. Virginia Willard and Ann Greenlee were cheerleaders. Our iunior year we were starting to be recognized around the school. The boys who participated in the sports were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Jack Beckley, Bill Cummings, and Bob Sanners. Gloria McPeek, Virginia Willard, and Ann Greenlee were cheerleaders. Carol Copeland was chosen queen attendant. The majorettes were Carol Bear and Rennie Kumbera. In April we presented Back- woods Romeo directed by Miss George. Then in May we gave the Junior-Senior Prom, with Heaven on Earth as our theme. The class sponsor was Mr. Cain. Finally we reached our last year of school. This is the year we will all remem ber. With the help of 9 of our boys, we were able to win the title of Tuscarawas County Class A Football Champions. Four of these boys were chosen on the Twin City Team. They were Jim Basiletti, Bob Barker, Bill Cummings. Jack Beckley was chosen most valuable player. There were three cheerleaders from our class this year, Virginia Willard QHead Cheerleader, Gloria McPeek, and Ann Greenlee. Rennie Kumbera was chosen homecoming queen, and Gloria McPeek was queen attendant. The maiorettes were Carol Bear, Kathleen Sikora, and Ren- nie Kumbera, fHead Maiorettei. We are looking forward to class day, Baccalau- reate, and Commencement, even though we'll hate leaving our friends at D.H.S. To our parents, teachers and also to the school administration we owe our ap- preciation and thanks for our success and happiness throughout the years. We the class of l958 thank you. ' 26
