LowDowN ON THE HIGHLIGHTS CBy our reporter, Robert Schleisg with apologies to Fibber McGee,D nOh, peachy! A promenade,n peeled the proletariat who perceived the paste board posters plastered with perfect printing, pointing out the party to be pulled-off by a pretty popular pack of presentable pupils, pragmatically preparing to replinish the fund for the paramount presentation of our praise- worthy paragon, Viking, 1943, With preliminary pondering the prosperous picked their partners for the prototype, as prop- aganda prevailed. The date was distinctly decided by the directors of all dizzy, double-dealing, dame-dreaming dods that dominated the De H1 dungeons of dwindling duty. February twenty-sixth was found to be the most famous, fantastic date that ever fell on a Friday, featuring favorite, fashionable feminine figures. Feasting and fellowship followed as each frail, fat, fair, or flexible form flicked past to the fast flow of favorite music. Sensational soda and sandwiches were sold to the scintillating syncopation offered our sentimental sidesteppers so sensationally supporting the insoluble soldiers of this seemingly serious situation, put the zip into the swing of the swlnglers who swung a swing. Games and gags galore were gobbled by giggling gals in good-looking garbs, and gallant gobs who grappled these girls in the gay, dim-lit glide hall, So the group neither growled, groaned, nor grumbled, and gaiety was had by all!
